Welcome to PE at St Nicolas and St Mary CE Primary School! 

Here you will find our PE curriculum map as well as PE milestones detailing the journey our children make in PE from year 1 to year 6. Our passion for PE encompasses the wide range of skills that our children learn through our dynamic and inclusive PE curriculum and also in teaching pupils about the many benefits physical activity can bring. 

 

Our PE Vision

Through the subject of PE we want all children to learn to work cooperatively and enjoy being physically active. We impart an understanding and a knowledge of a wide range of sporting activities and give all children the opportunity to participate in exciting workshops and competitions both within and across schools. Each year, we enjoy creating an atmosphere where children relish challenge and embrace the chance to represent the school through a variety of sports. Children are taught the joy, value and benefit of physical activity, which they can then carry with them through life.
