Clubs Overviews

The school runs a variety of clubs at lunchtimes and after school which are led by teachers and teaching assistants.  At the beginning of each term a letter and form are sent home for you to complete and return with your child's preferences.  All the clubs are very popular and we will do our best to ensure children are able to join the clubs requested, however please note that this is not always possible.

21CK!: A Christian children's ministry club designed to give kids in Y1-6 an exciting and fun packed time learning all about the Christian faith with games, drama, craft, music and building friendships.

Advanced Coding: Designed to push the boundaries of coding and teach children a new and useful language to work with. It is challenging but children should learn some great skills along the way.

Advanced Recorders: For those pupils who can play a simple tune like 'hot cross buns' or 'three blind mice' and would like to learn more. Children learn more notes, how to read music and begin to play pieces so that they are able to become part of the school band if they wish.

Art Y5-6: Offers opportunities for budding artists to extend their knowledge and experience of artists and their works; learn about the ways in which artists have influenced both in the past and the present and explore 2D and 3D ideas, designs and creative works of their own, using a range of materials, including IT. There is a charge of £2 per class for materials.

Drawing Club: Will offer children in years 3-5 an opportunity to develop drawing techniques and skills in a series of weekly half an hour sessions. Each week we will explore a different theme and experiment with different drawing materials.

The hands-on sessions facilitate children to explore all sorts of horticultural activities in a creative way. The club is staffed by parents and volunteers - and if you’d like to be involved, please do contact the office. The club runs until October half term and re commences in February half term up until the end of Summer term. The cost is £1 per session.
