Rainbow Classes

Welcome to the page for the Rainbow Classes! This is for some children in Years 2, 3, 4 and 5 who are returning to school. Pupils in the EYFS, Year 1 and Year 6 from Key Worker families will be joining the Rainbow Classes in their own year group premises on a Wednesday afternoon and those from Little Fishes on a Thursday when normal school and the Nursery are closed.

Here are the usual days for teachers in the Rainbow Classes:

Year 2 Mrs MacDonald (Mononday to Wednesday) and Miss Wells (Thursday and Friday)

Year 3 Miss Walker (Monday to Thursday) and Mrs Westcott (Fridays)

Year 4 Miss Goss (Monday and Tuesday) and Mr MacAllister (Wednesday to Friday)

Year 5 Miss Kite (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) and Mr Davies (Monday and Friday)

The teachers may sometimes alternate their days but will remain in these year groups where possible.

Mrs Bishop will be leading the Rainbow Classes and so if you have any queries, please make contact with her via the office email address or catch her at the Rainbow Class Ark door at drop off (Monday to Thursday).

We have made a video for you to watch explaining the route to the Rainbow Classes and a welcome letter. Take some time to look at them and the other resources below.

As of week commencing the 8th June, the Rainbow Classes will be working to  a two weekly theme for their foundation subjects. The first theme is Rainbows and then we will be thinking about the Olympics! Children at home in Years 2-5 will also be able to join in the fun with their home learning.

There are also some resources that parents/carers might find useful under Useful Home Learning Links and Resources>Well-being Parent and Carer support and under Returning After Closure.

We are so glad that you are part of the Rainbow Class team!
