As a Church of England school, collective worship plays a central part in what we do each day and is delivered through a variety of whole school, key stage and class assemblies, so that children can dig deeper into the Christian values, concepts and Bible stories which we explore.  Worship is led by a large variety of members from our school community including the Senior Leadership Team, teachers, governors, pupils, local clergy and visiting Christian organisations such as the Brighton and Hove City Mission. It takes place in our halls, classrooms, school grounds and within our local church of St Mary de Haura, where we celebrate the Christian festivals of Harvest, Christmas and Easter. New reception children are introduced gradually to whole school assemblies, when they are sufficiently confident to attend.  Parents have a right to withdraw their children from collective worship.
