The Little Fishes have had a very exciting week.  We have been reading and acting out stories including We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, The Gruffalo, The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Goldilocks and the Three Bears.  We’ve been learning what rhyming words are by listening to Dr. Seuss stories.  A lot of fun was had during the week making fizzy potions after learning about George’s Marvellous Medicine.  On Wednesday we joined the Reception children and Mr. Lincoln the Headmaster read us stories.  Some of our friends from Year 2 came to read stories to us on Thursday.  As it was dressing up day on Friday we joined the whole school for a special Book Week assembly to look at each other’s costumes.  Jude won a prize for his Peter Pan costume and chose the book Kitchen Disco.  We were very lucky that lots of mummies came in to read us stories during the week and we’d like to say a very big ‘Thank you’.
