On Wednesday 8th March Joe from Zoolab visited Little Fishes with a selection of small animals.  He introduced us to Jeff the hissing cockroach who eats anything including poo!  Next we met Felicia the tarantula spider but we weren't allowed to touch her! Saffron the leopeard gecko was next and loves to eat bugs and worms.  Sometimes his tail falls off and he just grows another one!  We had to be very quiet so that Pokey the hermit crab would make an appearance.  When he came out he moved very quickly.  Tango, a smooth snake, was very long and orange.   He sticks his tongue out to smell.  The last animal we met was Beemo the rat and we were able to stroke him gently with our finger.  We really enjoyed the visit and Joe said how fantastic the children were and that we should be very proud of them.  Well done Little Fishes.  You were brilliant!
