Arbor Payments: A Guide for Parents 

Arbor Payments, will be live from Monday 17th March 2025, designed to streamline and simplify the way you manage payments for various school-related activities. 

What is Arbor Payments?

Arbor Payments is an integrated payment system within our school's Management Information System (MIS). It allows you to make secure online payments for school ties, clubs, trips, and other activities directly through the Arbor Parent Portal or App. This system aims to make the payment process more convenient and efficient for everyone.

Payment Methods

Arbor Payments offers several convenient payment methods to suit your preferences:

  • Credit/Debit Card: You can securely add your credit or debit card details to make payments directly through the Arbor Parent Portal or App.
  • Apple Pay: Arbor supports payments via Apple Pay, allowing you to make transactions quickly and securely.  Set up Apple Pay
  • Google Pay: Android 9 users can use Google Pay for a seamless and secure payment experience. Download the Google Wallet app

How to Get Started

Step 1: Access the Arbor Parent Portal or App

  1. Log in to the Arbor Parent Portal (https://login.arbor.sc) using your registered email and password. If you haven't registered yet, please go to the Arbor Helpcentre page - https://support.arbor-education.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020147458-Log-into-the-Parent-Portal-and-the-Parent-App#what-is-the-parent-portal--0-0 or contact the school office for assistance.
  2. Download the Arbor App from the App Store or Google Play for easy access on your mobile device.

Step 2: Making Payments

  1. Select the Activity: Choose the item you wish to pay for (e.g. school shop items, clubs, trips).
  2. Enter the Amount: Input the amount you wish to pay.
  3. Confirm Payment: Review the payment details and confirm the transaction. You will receive a confirmation email once the payment is processed.

Step 3: To see accounts for one of your children, you can either:

  1. Select Payments: from your Quick Actions.
  2. Select the child from the drop-down in the top left. And select the account from your homepage.
  3. Click on the child’s name to go their profile, and select Payments > Active Payments from the left-hand menu.  You can then select the account

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: What cards are accepted for payments? A: Arbor Payments accepts Visa and MasterCard. Unfortunately, American Express is not supported.

Q: Can I receive a confirmation email for payments made? A: No, you will not receive confirmation payment of trips, clubs, or school shop items.

Q: Is there a minimum amount for card payments? A: Yes, the minimum amount for card payments is £1.00 for clubs and trips and other customer account types.

Q: Can I pay using vouchers? A: No, standard clubs, trips, or school shop items cannot be paid for using vouchers.

Q: I have already part-paid for a trip – will my balance be transferred from sQuid?  Yes, if you have part-paid for a trip eg Y6 Dalesdown residential, the amount to be paid in your Arbor Payments account is the amount still owing.

Q. I have paid for nursery extra supervision sessions for future dates – will this be recognised on Arbor? We have run off reports detailing future sessions booked so you do not need to book these sessions again.  However, you will not be able to see these bookings on Arbor, if you are unsure, please contact the school office.

Q. Can I still use sQuid to make payments? No – all offers/bookings on sQuid have ended.  All payments for any items/trips/events must be paid via Arbor Payments.
