Control Centre Skills

In PSHE, we have been learning about the different parts of the brain and that the frontal lobe (also known as the thinking brain) is a bit like a control centre or an air traffic control centre as it keeps everything running smoothly.

The children have learnt that there are 6 main control centre skills (also called executive function skills).

We will be thinking about when we are required to use these skills and how we can become even better at them if we find them difficult.

Please see below for more information about the control centre skills (information will be added as we progress through the curriculum).
